Adrian Rothenbühler is a dedicated Swiss athletics coach and educator with a career marked by numerous accolades and a strong commitment to developing elite athletes. Based in Liebefeld near Bern, Adrian combines roles at the Federal Office for Sport in Magglingen, where he leads the ‘Athletics’ department, with responsibilities at Swiss Athletics, serving as a coach at the Bern/Magglingen performance center. Here, he oversees top-level training, supervises performance evaluations, and contributes to the education of future sports trainers.
Adrian’s qualifications include a Swiss federal certificate as a competitive sports trainer, an elite sports coaching diploma, and a teaching license in mathematics, biology, and sports for secondary schools. His career achievements have been widely recognized, winning Coach of the Year titles from Swiss Athletics in 2021 and the Swiss Sports Awards in 2019, as well as Young Coach of the Year in both 2015 and 2011.
Throughout his career, Adrian has coached and advised an impressive roster of athletes. He currently works with stars like Salomé Kora in the 100m, heptathlete Caroline Agnou, hurdler Valérie Guignard (U20 European Silver Medallist), and Angelica Moser, two-time European champion (2021 indoor in Torun, 2024 in Roma), 4th at the recent Olympics in Paris, jumping her new PB of 4m88 in 2024.
His past coaching credits include supporting elite athletes such as Mujinga Kambundji (100m/200m, 60m World Champion), Ditaji Kambunji (100m hurdles U20 & U23 European Champion), Elena Kratter (paralympic long jump, bronze Paralympic medallist in Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024), Géraldine Ruckstuhl (heptathlon, U23 European Champion) and Ellen Sprunger (heptathlon / 4×100).

Participants who have purchased the ‘Under 30’ ticket and do not meet the criteria will have to pay the difference in price for the standard ticket. Those who do not complete the integration will not be entitled to access the event.
How will it work for the new edition?
Convention will be held as last year both in-person and online.
It will be possible to participate in only one day of the convention depending on which discipline you are most interested in (high jump/pole vault), or both days. When purchasing your ticket, you will be able to indicate whether you also want to participate in the competition on 4 January. In the tickets page you can find all info about prices and details.
To participate in the competition at the moment, you need to buy a ticket to the convention. When purchasing your ticket, you will be asked whether or not you want to participate as an athlete in the 4 January competition. Pre-registration for the competition only will be opened later.
